According to tradition, the origins of a sport similar to golf date back to the 12th century in Scotland. Shepherds, who took care of sheep where the St. Andrews Golf Club now stands, used to hit balls with wooden sticks into rabbits’ holes.
Today in Piacenza province people keep on playing in wide golf courses surrounded by trees, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the environment.
Piacenza province offers three Golf Clubs immersed in the most varied landscapes, from coasts to rolling hills or close to villages with an ancient past to be discovered.
