TORTELLO CON LA CODA DI VIGOLZONE DE.CO.

Description
This filled pasta has a candy-wrap shape and it is a typical dish from Piacenza cuisine. Each tortello is made of a square of pasta filled with cottage cheese and spinach and then rolled up by hand to create its typical shape. In 2006 it was honoured with the DE.CO. designation of origin in Vigolzone, where the shape was probably conceived for the first time.

The Festa del Tortello gathers more than 20.000 visitors in Vigolzone and lasts for five days, in celebration of this typical product.
