Description
Chief town of a council rich in castles, witness of bloody feudal fights, has its town hall in the 14th century castle, that has been modified several times and restored recently. Going further back in time, the territory hosted several roman sites, but this area is above all famous for the battle fought in 218 B.C, between Hannibal and the Roman army on the river Trebbia.Hannibals victory was striking. The present economy is mainly based on agriculture and tourism.
